Cookies notice

This short notice covers how we use cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies on the Aliqa web surfaces. The iOS app does not use browser cookies; any tokens it stores are kept in the iOS Keychain.

We do not use cross-site advertising cookies, re-targeting pixels, social-network trackers, or third-party analytics fingerprinting.

Consent

Authentication and language-preference storage are strictly necessary under the UK ePrivacy rules (PECR), the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as implemented in France by the Code des postes et des communications électroniques, and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), and do not require consent.

Google Analytics on www.aliqa.app is analytics, not strictly necessary. To meet the ICO's and the CNIL's stricter stance on analytics cookies (and to be consistent with the PDPA's notification principle for Singapore visitors), www.aliqa.app displays a consent banner that:

loads Google Analytics only after the user taps Accept (default is reject all);
shows Reject all at the same visual weight as Accept, as specifically required by the CNIL;
persists the choice in localStorage (aliqa-cookie-consent);
provides a Manage cookies link in the footer that re-opens the banner.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you do, you will be logged out of Aliqa and will need to log in again, and you will be asked again for your cookie choice on www.aliqa.app.
